Cape Verde international airports<\/h2>\n
There are three of them. They are respectively :<\/p>\n

Amilcar Cabral International Airport;<\/li>\n
Nelson Mandela International Airport;<\/li>\n
and Cesaria Evora international airport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The first, theAmilcar Cabral airport<\/strong>It is Cape Verde's main airport and was opened in 1939. In addition to international destinations, it also serves the town of Espargos on the island of Sal.<\/p>\n
The second, theNelson Mandela airport<\/strong> is in Praia. It is the country's capital. It is located on Santiago Island. Known as Francisco-Mendes International Airport until 2005, it was renamed Nelson Mandela International Airport in 2012.<\/p>\n
The third international airport, Cesaria Evoria,<\/strong> is located in the north of the archipelago, in the capital of the island of S\u00e3o Vicente, Sao Pedro. It was opened in 1960 and renamed after the star on 8 March 2012.<\/p>\n
