To enter Cape Verde, European nationals must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned return date.
Mandatory Pre-Registration
Regardless of the length or purpose of stay, every non-Cape Verdean traveler must complete an EASE pre-registration at least five days before arrival. During this process, the traveler enters their passport details, expected entry and exit dates, flight number, and accommodation details.
Visa Requirements by Nationality
French nationals and citizens of the European Union and Switzerland are exempt from visa requirements for stays of up to 30 days. For stays longer than 30 days (up to 90 days), a visa is mandatory and must be purchased from the consulate.
